We will be again supporting Casson Homes for Mental Health Week and displaying some cars. The event will be held at 5 Woodville St, North Perth. Come along and see the good work Casson Homes do for our community.  The road will be closed off for the duration of the event with live music, entertainment and Mr Whippy for a fun family day. This is a Wednesday event, but hopefully you are able to join us for this good cause.

Cruise meeting point will be at Jospeph Banks College Car Park on Joseph Banks Boulevard at 8.30am for a 8.45am take off.  Gold coin entry on arrival so please come prepared. The LPCA has been very busy organising all the bits and pieces for the upcoming event. This year it has been titled the Ledge Point Show & Shine Family Fun Day. Like last year we are having the train and pony rides but we have also added a petting zoo for the kids. So the idea is the parents will purchase a wristband for $10.00 per child. That wristband will allow them to have as many rides and visits to the petting zoo as they wish as well as getting their face painted and a bag of lollies and Zooper Dooper ice block. All while the parents wander round and look over your members' cars. We have tried to make it as family friendly as possible and not have the parents continually reaching into their purse/wallet.  Similar to last year it will be a gold coin donation entry for all and with donation you receive a ticket for raffles drawn over the day. We would like your members' cars to arrive at around 10:00am and line up on the oval the same as last year. There will be someone in hi-viz directing the cars to the spots marked on the oval. Attached is a link to google maps for those that are not familiar with where the event is being held. On the map you will see the entrance for the display cars is the second turn in off Jones Street. Again there will be someone there to direct them. The stall holders and food trucks will set up between 9:00 - 10:00am and the public is invited for 10:30am.  We feel there will be a good turnout given it is school holidays, a busy time for Ledge Point and from the response we have already received.      

Once again Northern Steel will be along to the mater Dei College 30th Anniversary Community Fair. We will have a peoples choice award that will be drawn on the day.  Get ready to experience an exciting day at the Mater Dei College 30th Anniversary Community Fair with fun activities, lively stalls and wonderful celebrations! Hosted by the Mater Dei College Parents and Friends (P&F), this FREE community event guarantees a thrilling day suitable for all ages. Join us for the annual Northern Steel Car Club Annual General Meeting (AGM).  As this is a catered event tickets are available for $10pp. Included in the ticket price will be food throughout the evening and a decent bar tab as our way of saying thank you for your continued support of the club. The following committee positions will be up for re-election on the night: Vice President 5 x Ordinary Committee Members Nominations of current members interested in being considered for election to the committee at the AGM need to be communicated to the club admin by 5pm 24th June 2023 in accordance with the Club Rules. Interested members must nominate for election by sending written notice to the club secretary at admin@northernsteelcars.com. The written notice must include a statement of support by another current member of Northern Steel Car Club. A vote will be taken on the night to elect the committee members for 2023/2024. Perth Classic Car Show, Sun 26 Mar 2023, Ascot Racecourse, presented by Council of Motoring Clubs WA We are at a point where we have to lock in numbers for the event and we wanted to give you the opportunity to represent Northern Steel at the show. Tickets for this event through the club will close this coming Friday 24th February.   Northern Steel will be paying your entry fee for the car, the drive and one passenger. Additional passengers will be at $15 per adult. Kids under 16 are free entry.   Should you decide to enter your car individually, car entry is $20 per car.    Cars need to be parked and ready by 9.45am, we will arrange a cruise down together likely from Joondalup area closer to the time. Lock in until 3pm.    Please respond if you plan to join us so we can lock in space by purchasing your free ticket. Spaces are limited for this event.     

Come along to Joondalup Resort for an show and shine afternoon - for members and non members.  The resort will be welcoming us with some discount specials on food for the afternoon in 2 different food areas of the resort - with the cars being able to be viewed from Cafe28 Balcony for peace of mind.  Come grab bite and drink at the resort and enjoy this new show and shine event with Northern Steel and Joondalup Resort.  There is plenty of spectator parking on the day.  More info to come - save the date.
