Meeting at 1.30pm the Joondalup Council Car park n Boas Ave at 1.30pm for a 1.45pm Cruise Start. Arriving at King Road Brewing in Oldbury at 3pm for drinks and afternoon snacks/late lunch.  This is a members cruise and the capacity for the day is 40 people at the venue, so it will be first in best dressed on the attendance. The February and March Calendar are very full which is why the notice is late for this event - we were trying to work out where to fit it in - hope you can make it.   

For this years annual car show, Northern Steel are returning to the spiritual home of Big Al's Poker Run and are pleased to invite you to Perry Lakes on Sunday the 15 January 2023. Gates will be open to the public from 9am with roll in from 8am to welcome you to the shady grass area at the corner of Underwood Ave and Perry Lakes Drive. The event will be lock in until approximately 2.30pm to allow for judging and presentation of trophies. Pre registration is open from now until 5pm on Sunday the 8th January 2023. Make sure you pre-register to take up the option of a limited edition entrant t-shirt. Shirt size selection is made when completing your registration. The entrant shirts are locally printed and true to normal Aussie bloke sizing! If you miss the entrant shirt cut off, non-entrant t-shirts will be available for purchase on the day.  Registration for non t-shirt entrants will be open until the 13 January 2023. Registration on the day will be $15 and cash payments only. We will have two entry queues on the day for pre-registered and new entries. We will also be joined by the Vintage Collective Markets on the day. Come along and enjoy the delights of the markets including, food stalls and grab a coffee to walk around and view the amazing cars on display for the day. There will be 5 Categories to enter your car in on the day - Best Ford, Best Holden/Chev, Best Valiant/Mopar, Best Import and Best Hot Rod/Rat Rod. Each car is only eligible to enter one category, so choose carefully.  There will also be a Peoples Choice Award and Northern Steel Car Club member vehicles will eligible for inclusion in Best Members Car judging. All proceeds from the day will be going to Beyond Blue and RUAH to support mental health and the homeless in WA.     

Come along to Northern Steel’s annual toy run for Perth Children’s Hospital. Meeting time will be 8:00am for a 8:30am start with meeting point Ocean Reef Boat Harbour. There will be a cruise route for the day, which will include a fly by PCH so the kids can look through the windows and see the cars cruise by. Cruise sheets will be distributed at the start point. Finish point is David Cruikshank Reserve Tennis Club Car we will be able to park the cars and the good folks at the tennis club will be providing refreshments and food for the participants to purchase. Pre purchase is available for $10 per person through the ticket link to save queuing when we arrive. We will be collecting toys for PCH at the finish point. PCH have requested we provide the gifts unwrapped from the following wish list: Gift cards to Toymate, Itunes, JB HI FI, Cotton On, Coles/ Myer, Dymocks, Kmart, Baby Bunting, Rebel Sport, Target, Visa or MasterCard prepaid - Stickers, pencils, colouring in books, journals, craft kits - Playdough, putty, small individual bubbles, kinetic sand - Lego kits, hot wheel cars and trucks - Hair accessories and nail polish - Headphones, Bluetooth speakers - Jigsaw puzzles, roll up puzzle mats - Baby books (That’s not my........) - Activity sets- beading, kitting, velvet art posters, jewellery kits - Birthday decorations: balloons, streamers, banners - Fidget toys- pop its, spinners, fun cubes, stress balls - Baby items- teethers, rattles, cot mobiles - Pillow pets, mood lights, sensory lights - Board games and card games The hospital has requested that we avoid stuffed toys and that all toys are new and please be mindful of choking hazards and avoid noisy toys given the hospital environment. Toys that can be easily used while in hospital beds and easy to clean up after are use. If you would prefer to donate money – please let us know and we will purchase on your behalf. There are some great things at Kmart and Red Dot etc for between $5-$15. We hope to see as many of you as possible at this event in support of PCH.

Its time for a pub cruise - the weather is warming up and we'd love to catch up for a beer with you. Come join us for a leisurely cruise to Two Rocks Tavern.  Meeting at Joseph Banks Secondary College car park on Jospeph Banks Boulevard in Banksia Grove from 11am for an  11.30am cruise start up Wanneroo Road to the Two Rocks Tavern for a few drinks and a bite to eat.  Looking forward to a chill afternoon with all those who can make it.

Joondalup Festival of Motoring together with Northern Steel invite you to join us for the Cars and Cocktails night (We have beer and wine too!!) We will be arranging a Members Only carpark for Northern Steel Members in front of the City of Joondalup admin building from 5:00 pm. We have about 300 bays plus 350 overflow parking bays in the multi deck off Boas Ave. This is a free event, not a lock in. We will have a range of beverages and food trucks located in Central Park along with entertainment, relaxed family vibe. There are also lots of outlets around the Joondalup City Centre.

We will be again supporting Casson Homes for Mental Health Week and displaying some cars. The road will be closed off for the duration of the event with live music, entertainment and Mr Whippy for a fun family day. This is a Thursday event, but hopefully you are able to join us for this good cause.

Notice and Invitation of Northern Steel AGM   Join us for the Northern Steel Car Club Annual General Meeting (AGM)   When: Saturday 23 July 2022 at 7pm Where: Wanneroo Tavern Function Room, 18 Dundebar Road, Wanneroo   Tickets are available for $10 per person to confirm numbers as this will be a catered event. Food throughout the evening and a decent bar tab will be included in your ticket price, as a thankyou from the club for attending the event and your continued support of Northern Steel Car Club.   Formalities will be short and there will be plenty of opportunity to meet your fellow members, have a drink and something to eat and listen to some music. We are sure it will be a great casual event.   The following positions on the Northern Steel Car Club Committee will be up for re-election on the night:   Vice President 5 x Ordinary Committee Members   Nominations of current members interested in being considered for election to the committee at the AGM need to be communicated to the club admin by 5pm 24 June 2022  by sending a written notice to the club secretary at admin@northernsteelcars.com. Long range forecast is looking good for Sunday 1st May 2022. Please book free tickets per person attending just so we can gauge numbers. This event is a club sanctioned run for those of you on C4C and will be in the WASMA App. Meet us at 1.30pm at the Joondalup Lotteries House Car Park, Boas Ave (across from the Licensing Centre)  at 2pm on Sunday 1st May for a leisurely cruise up to Amberton Beach Bar and Kitchen for a few drinks and a meal if you so choose with a magnificent view over the ocean. We have arranged an overflow car park are just for us on the day which is just a short walk from the pub.
